The Mid-American Conference announced Wednesday, Nov. 19, that Eastern Michigan University's women's cross country senior Victoria Voronko was named the MAC Scholar Athlete of the Week after punching her ticket to the NCAA Championship with a 10th-place performance at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional, Nov. 14. The award marks the fourth time during her career that Voronko has earned the accolade, and it is her sixth weekly conference honor of 2014, racking up five MAC Runner of the Week titles during the cross country season.
