Despite not running cross country until her sophomore year and being a rookie in track and field as a senior, Jessica Stroede signed with Oakland University last month.

The Midland girls track and field team took second at the Hemlock Track Classic on Saturday, May 9 with a team score of 122, narrowly missing first-place Saginaw Heritage (129).

The Midland Dow girls track and field team had many athletes take top honors, despite taking second as a team to Bay City Western, 76-51 on Tuesday, May 5.
