Isaac Harding helped spark Rockford to the Division 1 state championship by taking medalist honors in the finals at Michigan International Speedway.

Rockford won the top prize again at the Division 1 state meet, with four runners deserving spots on the All-Area Boys Cross Country first team, and two other Rams meriting second-team recognition.

A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday in Holland for former West Ottawa cross country and track coach Norm Bredeweg.
