Brook Handler, Shannon Osika, Cindy Ofili and Erin Finn will compete for the Maize and Blue at the NCAA Outdoor Championships (June 11-13) in Eugene, Oregon.

Cindy Ofili punched her ticket to Eugene, Oregon, for next month's NCAA Outdoor Championships, qualifying for the 100m dash in 11.522, and she will try to make it a double bid in the 100m hurdles Saturday.

U-M advanced Cindy Ofili (100m dash), as well as a pair in the 800m race and all four entries in the 1,500m run, to quarterfinal rounds later this weekend during the first day of action at the NCAA East Preliminary Rounds.

The Maize and Blue will be represented by a group of 14 Wolverines this week at the NCAA East Regional Preliminary Rounds (May 28-30) hosted by the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Florida.

Brook Handler, Danielle Pfeifer and Erin Finn will advance to the Academic All-America team ballot after earning Capital One Academic All-District 5 honors on Friday.

The Maize and Blue finished with nine top-five performances on the final day of the Big Ten Outdoor Championships, including five top-three finishes -- headlined by 100m hurdles champ Cindy Ofili.

The Maize and Blue set itself up for big success in the weekend finale, qualifying for finals in the 100m dash and hurdles, 400m race and hurdles and the 800m and 1,500m runs on day two of the Big Ten Outdoor Championships.

Erin Finn crossed at 33:54.85 to win her second 10,000-meter title in as many years, and Gina Sereno (7th) and Corinne Florie (12th) joined her in the top 12 to open competition for U-M at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships.
