As the Jeux de la Francophonie came to a close on Sunday, Sept. 15, so did Alysha Newman's summer campaign with Team Canada. Newman, a sophomore pole vaulter for the Eagles, ended her stint of international competition by nabbing a fifth place finish in the games.
