(Ann Arbor, MI) – Concordia freshman Brie Schofield has been named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week.  The Belleville native earned the award for her race at the Wisconsin-Oshkosh Brooks Invitational where she finished 241^st out of 509 runners.  Schofield ran a 24:55 for the 6K race with a split time of 20:24 during the 5K portion which would have placed her 5^th on the Concordia All-Time record list.  Schofield looks to officially break into CUAA's Top 5 in the Cardinals next race.
