When Austin Sargent won the Division 2 state meet in a time of 15:42.7, it marked the first time in MHSAA history that two different runners from the same school won individual state titles in back-to-back years. Cedar Springs alum Connor Mora won the 2012 state cross country championship. While Sargent continues a long-running tradition of running excellence at Cedar Springs, 10 different schools are represented on this year s Advance All-Area Boys Cross Country first team.
