(Ann Arbor, MI) - The Concordia men's track program is pleased to announce the signing of Grant Bowdish from Clio, Michigan.  The standout track runner is also Clio High School's student council treasure, the section leader and principal player in the marching band, and the youth group music leader.

Grant will run cross country and track for the Cardinals starting Fall of 2014. For Clio High School's track team Grant's main events are the 400m and 300m Hurdles. He holds numerous records at Clio HS and was a 3x captain of the track team.   Grant holds personal bests of 53 in the 400m, 42.02 in the 300m Hurdles and has run in the mid 17's in Cross Country with limited experience.

Concordia's Head Coach Jamie LaBrosse had this to say about Grant, "Grant is a great athlete who has a lot of underdeveloped talent.  His best running is ahead of him as looks to possibly move up in distance to the 800m. I look forward to working with him and feel that he can compete at a high level in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference."

While at CUAA Grant plans on majoring in music and minoring in worship arts and pre-seminary.

Concordia University would like to welcome their newest Cardinal, Grant Bowdish.
