PITTSBURGH, Pa. –The Lawrence Technological (Mich.) University women's cross country team finished in eighth place at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational in Pittsburgh, Pa.

Lawrence Tech finished the race in a total time of 1:51:58 for its top five racers. The Blue Devils were led by Marissa Bradley (SO/Haslett, Mich.) who finished the race in 24th place with a time of 20:06.3. Monica Ellicott (SO/Caro, Mich.) followed Bradley in 50th place in a time of 21:13.0. Claudia Krygier (SO/Chesterton, Ind.) placed 78th after running the 5K in a time of 23:26.6.
