GREENVILLE, SC – The office of the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) has announced that Carissa Hudson was named the NCCAA Women's Track & Field Athlete of the Week for January 14-19.

Hudson, a senior from Shelby Township, MI, competed at the Mike Lints Open hosted by Grand Valley State University in the Mile Run and finished 8^th in the event against many DI and DII schools.  Her time of 5:06.27 qualified her for the NAIA National meet later this winter and is currently the 2^nd fastest time in the NAIA this season.

This is the third time that Hudson has achieved this prestigious award.
