Ben Hill (Royal Oak, Mich.) and Brandon Piwinski (Harrison Township, Mich.) each signed National Letters of Intent to compete for the Wolverines in 2015-16.

The Maize and Blue announced its 2015 indoor and outdoor schedule, which includes two home meets, an indoor dual vs. MSU and outdoor tri-meet with Cal and Virginia for the third consecutive year.

Amanda Decker Skowronek joins the U-M men's and women's cross country and track and field staffs as the director of operations, bringing more than 15 years of experience working with track and field to the programs.

As a member of Team USA, Mason Ferlic took second place in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the NACAC U-23 Championships.

Mason Ferlic was chosen by Team USA to compete in the 3,000m steeplechase at the NACAC U-23 Championships, which will take place from Aug. 8-10 in British Columbia, Canada.

Mason Ferlic and August Pappas each earned USTFCCCA All-Academic honors for the 2014 season for excelling on the track and achieving a 3.25 GPA or better.

Mason Ferlic placed ninth (8:43.12) in the 3,000-meter steeplechase final at the USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, while former Wolverine Craig Forys captured sixth place (8:37.06).

Mason Ferlic finished fifth in heat one of the 3,000-meter steeplechase prelims at the USA Outdoor Championships to automatically qualify for Sunday's final, which will air live on NBC at 1:52 p.m. PDT.

Mason Ferlic, who became an All-America first team member in both cross county and outdoor track and field this year, was selected to the Capital One Academic All-America third team.

Mason Ferlic has qualified to compete in the USA Outdoor Championships (June 26-29) in the 3,000m steeplechase in Sacramento, Calif., with the prelims on Friday (6:22 p.m. PDT) and finals on Sunday (1:52 p.m. PDT).
