(Friday May 6th, Grand Rapids, MI) - The Women's Track and Field Team competed at the WHAC Championships in Grand Rapids this past weekend. The Cardinals top performance was turned in by sophomore, Brittany Simmons in the long jump. Simmons took 5th place with a jump of 4.98, or 16'4". "This was one of Brittany's best jumps of the season today," said Coach Steve Montgomery.

Also competing in the long jump was junior, Adora Morrow, who turned in a good effort with her top jump for the day being 4.61, or 15'1". Morrow also competed in the 200 meter, running a solid time of 28.1. "The 200 meter has been a good event for Adora all season long this year. We have been extremely happy with her efforts in the 200 meter," he added.
