BARBOURVILLE, Ky. -- Union men's track & field's John Luther was named the Appalachian Athletic Conference's men's field athlete of the week the league announced on Monday. This marks the third time on the outdoor season that Luther has earned the award.

DETROIT, Mich. -- For the second straight year, head coach LaCema Womack and the Mustangs made the short trek to Belle Isle to assist with the Detroit Free Press Marathon. The team – considered regulars by the personnel that run the event that is host to over 24,000 participants – was able to lend a helping hand at a fluid station near the 20-mile marker.
