[Men's Cross Country] Men's Cross run to a ninth place finish at Lansing Inv.Published by
LANSING, MI – Simon Reidsma led Spring Arbor's men's Cross Country team with a 26th place finish in the 8K Lansing Invitational to help the Cougars to a ninth place finish out of 25 teams in the highly competitive field. Reidsma's time in the 8K was 26:38.9. Kyle Anderson placed 32nd clocking 26:44.7 and Tyler Babinec was the third Cougar across the line at 27:35.3, in the 61st spot. Nathan Anderson was the 69th runner to finish the event with a time of 27:49.0 and Peter Ramundo rounded out the scoring for the Cougars clocking 28:12.7 in 78th place and 266 points. The weather was warm and many of the Cougars were feeling under the weather which made breathing more difficult in the conditions. SAU Graduate, Nathan Martin entered the event as an individual and finished first with time of 25:06.2 "It certainly wasn't our best day, but with everything the guys have been dealing with, and with the conditions, it wasn't that bad," said Coach Dante Ottolini.
