[Women's Indoor Track & Field] SAU Women's Track placed 15th at NCCAA National Championships

Bourbonnais, IL – The SAU Women's Track & Field team spent the weekend at the NCCAA National Championships hosted by Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, IL and made a few dents in the Spring Arbor University Record books in the process.

Jessica Lee made the final in 60m dash and placed tenth with a time of 8.15 and Ellie Reynolds makes finals in 60m hurdles and also finished 10th and set new school record with a time of 9.59.

Amanda Luurtsema finished tenth in 200m in 26.79 for third on the Spring Arbor University All-Time list.

The 4x200 meter relay team of Mallory Davis, Jessica Czinder, Andrea Bogert and Liz Brueggeman ran a season best time of 1:50.54. The 4x4oom team of Andrea Finkbeiner, Rebecca Donker, Mary Lehman, and Kelly Tripp also ran a season best time of 4:12.25.

Senior, Danae Dracht placed tenth in the one mile run with a time of 5:24:24 and in the 5000m Kate Jones clocked a Personal Best time of 19:30.22 placing her sixth on the SAU All-Time list.

The 4x800 relay team of Donker, Lehman, Amanda Curtis, and Sarah Frederick finished fifth in the meet with an NAIA qualifying time of 9:47.78.

Vanessa Rogers finished as an NCCAA All-American in the pole vault placing third place at 11' 2 ¼".

Danae Dracht (Mile Run), Vanessa Rogers (Pole Vault), and the 4x800m relay team of Donker, Lehman, Curtis, and Frederick will all compete in the NAIA National Championships at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, OH held March 6-8
