[Men's Indoor Track & Field] Falland named NAIA National Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the WeekPublished by
Louis Falland of Cornerstone (Mich.) has been named the NAIA National Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week. the national office announced Wednesday. Falland was selected based on his performances from Feb. 17 – 23. This is the final selection of the 2014 indoor season. Falland, a senior from Noriootpa, Australia, broke the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) meet record in the mile at the WHAC Indoor Championships on Feb. 22. His clocking of 4:15.95 put him first in a field of 14 other mile runners. Falland also easily won the 1,000 (2:30.40) and 3,000 meters (8:49.77). For his 30 points, he was awarded the WHAC Performer of the Meet as the top scorer. Falland also won the same three events at the 2012 event. Read the full article at: www.cugoldeneagles.com
