Tony Smoragiewicz was selected for the Team USA Men's Junior squad that will compete in the Bupa Great Edinburgh Cross Country Challenge on Jan. 5 in Edinburgh, Scotland.

The 13th-ranked Wolverines' top-five runners each crossed the finish line within a 24-second split to record 518 points as U-M came in 23rd at the NCAA Championships.

No. 12 U-M took second place at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional to earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Championships. All five scorers finished in the top 25 to earn All-Great Lakes Region honors.
