Red-shirt junior Beth Rohl (New Buffalo, Mich.) has qualified for the finals in the women's discus at the U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials after throwing a personal best 57.56 meters in the preliminary round Friday night. The top-12 throwers out of the 24 qualifiers in the preliminary round advanced to the finals. Rohl's toss of 57.56 meters was good for seventh place.
