[Men's Cross Country] Graham Elliott qualifies for Nationals, LTU takes SixthPublished by
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Graham Elliott (SO/Linden, MI) became the first Lawrence Tech cross country runner to qualify for the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) National Championships after running a 26:17.5 at the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Championship on Saturday in Grand Rapids, Mich. Elliot helped lead LTU to a sixth place finish at the 2014 WHAC Championship with a combined top-five time of 2:19:54.6. Lawrence Tech finished with a score of 158, 128 points behind WHAC Champion Aquinas College (Mich.). Indiana Tech finished in second place followed by Cornerstone University (Mich.), Davenport University (Mich.), and Madonna University (Mich.) rounds out the top five.
