GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The Lawrence Technological (Mich.) University men's cross country team finished a very successful season this past Saturday at the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference held in Grand Rapids at Riverside Park. 

The team placed seventh out of 10 teams lead this week by Tanner Flint (JR/Corinth, NY) who place 36th out of 115 competitors.  His time of 27:37 for the 8k was not as fast as he ran on the same course 2 week earlier at the Great Lakes Invitational but was the top finisher for the team.  He was followed by Freshman Brendan Koch (FR/Macomb, Mich.) 38th (27:40), Malik Jordan (SO/Wayne, Mich.) 45th (27:48), John Bowen 55th (28:14), Jimmy Hoefler (FR/Macomb, Mich.) 71st (28:59) and Sam Toward (JR/Ortonville, MI) 78th (29:27).
