(Dexter, MI) - The Women's Cross Country Team traveled to the beautiful Hudson Mills Park on Friday for the Eastern Michigan University Fall Classic. It was a great autumn day, and a great day for running. The Cardinals top runner for the day was senior, Jeni Bollenbacher, running a time of 22:54.4. "Jeni has been very consistent in her races all season and consistently been our number one runner all season as well," said Coach Steve Montgomery. "I'm very pleased with how Jeni ran today. She really pushed herself once again," he added.

Next to finish for the Lady Cards was sophomore, Molly Rathje in a time of 23:28.7. Close behind Rathje was senior, Corinne Kuclo and freshmen, Leigh McRobbie with times of 23:44.1 and 23:49.0.  McRobbie had the lone PR (Personal Record) for the day. "I am very pleased with Leigh's progress as a cross country runner. She had an injury at the beginning of the season, so her season got off to a slow start, but she is really coming along now," Montgomery said.
