(Bloomfield Hills, MI) - The women's Cross Country Team traveled to Oakland Community College Saturday for a very windy OCC open. The Cardinals top runner on the day was senior, Jeni Bollenbacher, completing the 5000 meter course in 22:57. The next Lady Card to finish was senior, Chloe Metcalf with a time of 23:21. Close behind Metcalf was sophomore, Molly Rathje, running a season PR of 23:25.

"The ladies did a good job considering the extremely windy conditions they were dealing with today," said Coach Steve Montgomery. "There was a steady 30mph wind, with gusts to 40 mph. It was very difficult conditions for running. Molly even managed to run a season PR today. Overall, I'm happy with the effort the ladies put in," he added.
