(Ann Arbor, MI) - The Lady Cardinals track team signed a highly sought out recruit last week from Ypsilanti.  Michele LaGrand is a smart and motivated athlete that excelled at Ypsilanti High School.  She graduated from YHS in 2011 where she ran with the track team all 4 years. During those years she ran the 100 meter dash, 200 meter dash, 4x100 meter relay, 4x200 meter relay, and she also did the long jump. She is a 4 time Division 2 All- State athlete as well as a 2 time All-Conference performer in Southern Conference.  Michele was awarded the Ypsilanti High School's Scholar Athlete Award, 3 times during her high school career.
