(Lorain, OH) - Concordia's Men's Cross Country Team competed at the Lorain Invitational this past Saturday and had a few good performances. In their first 8K (5 mile) race of the season, the guys posted some good early season times. Leading the way for the Cardinals was Ryan Bjellquist-Ledger finishing in 11^th place with a time of 28:53.26. "Ryan was at the front of the pack the whole race and was just a spot off from finishing in the Top 10. I know with a little adjustment he will be there from here on out Head Coach Stephanie Foster stated." Following Ledger was Alex Kitchin finishing in 36^th place with a time of 32:13.56. Right behind Kitchin was Andrew Belt finishing in 39^th place with a time of 33:53.61. Coach Foster replied that "we had three guys unable to run so I look forward to having the whole team back at our next meet this Saturday."

The Cardinals will travel to Lansing Michigan this Friday, Sept. 29^th to run in the Lansing Community College Invitational. The meet is set to begin at noon EST8
