GRAND RAPIDS, MI - Spring Arbor's men's cross country team decided to race in the Michigan Intercollegiate cross country race hosted by Calvin College on Friday, and despite running without top runner Nathan Martin, the Cougars finished seventh of 24 teams.

Kyle Anderson stepped up big for the Cougars and finished third of 190 runners to lead Spring Arbor with a time of 24:42.4. Anderson tied his personal best which is the fourth fastest time in school history.
