[Men's Indoor Track & Field] Sprinters Stay Sharp at Aquinas TwilightPublished by
(Grand Rapids, Mich.) Going into the final qualifying week of the Outdoor Track & Field season, the Cornerstone men had already earned their spots for the NAIA National Championships. The Aquinas Twilight Meet offered a chance get in a few more events. Eric Schroeder capped his season in the long jump with a personal best. His fourth place leap of 21' 10" added over three inches to what he did one week earlier at the WHAC Championships. Schroeder led off the 4 x 100 meter relay for the final time in 2012, combining with Zach Yeo, Ryan Versen and Jeshurun Washington for another fourth place finish in 42.43. Versen, Yeo and Washington finished 2-3-6 in the 200 meters with Ryan clocking 22.23 to Zach's 22.34 and Jeshurun's 22.91 Adam Duerksen joined Ryan and Zach for a 1-3 sweep of the 400 meters with Versen taking the win in 48.67 followed by Yeo in 49.3 and Adam in 51.56.
