(South Bend, IN) - On Friday, October 7^th the Women's Cross Country Team traveled to South Bend Indiana to compete in the Bethel College Invitational. The women did a nice job over the 5000 meter course. The first Card to cross the finish line was sophomore, Molly Rathje, running a time of 23:33. Following closely behind Rathje were seniors, Corinne Kuclo, Chloe Metcalf, and Jeni Bollenbacher with times of 23:40, 23:41, and 23:50.

Next up for the Lady Cards were freshmen, Delisia Morris, Leigh McRobbie, and Casey Raymond. "The freshmen were close behind our front four today," said Coach Steve Montgomery. "We had a nice pack, and the girls really worked together and pushed each other in the race today. We just need to work on getting our group further up in the overall pack," he added.

"The team has really come together and bonded this season, which is always a good thing," Montgomery said. "I'm really proud of these girls."

The next race for the Lady Cards is October 15^th at Oakland Community College in Farmington Hills Michigan. Good luck Cards.
