[Men's Outdoor Track & Field] Men's Outdoor Track Season Closes at WHAC ChampionshipPublished by
(Adrian, MI) - The Concordia Men's Track and Field team competed at the WHAC Championship Meet held at Siena Heights University this past Saturday and had some good results. Freshmen, Stone Hadley placed 2nd in the javelin, throwing a 53.15 or 174'04", earning him All-Conference 2nd team and eight points. The team had 15 points overall for a sixth place finish in the team race. "Stone threw with enthusiasm and determination," said Head Coach Steve Montgomery. "He just kept getting better and better throughout the competition and had an awesome PR," he added. Hadley also placed 6th in the shot put and 6th in the discus, throwing PRs (personal records) and a school record throw of 14.17 in the shot put an 43.33 in the discus.
