[Women's Cross Country] Morgan Beck Inks with Spring Arbor University Cross Country and Track

Comments

Spring Arbor University Athletic Department is excited to announce the signing of Wauseon, Ohio native, Megan Beck to both the women's cross-country and track programs for the 2014-15 academic year.

A four year letter winner for the women's cross-country program at Wauseon High School, Megan has competed in two State meets and was awarded the honor of Academic All-State for the second time this past fall.  These are just a few of the many accolades that Megan has over her current young running career.

Actively involved in her home church, (Crossroads Evangelical) youth group, Megan has been on two mission trips to the Dominican Republic and is looking forward to SAU's Cross Cultural experience.

"We are truly excited to have Megan joining our running family here at SAU," said Head Coach Bill Bippes. "Along with being a leader, I truly believe that Megan will have an instant impact on our women's team next fall both spiritually and athletically.  I look forward to seeing how God develops her gifts."

A few reasons that Megan has chosen to continue your academic and athletic career at SAU is because of the small campus size, the CORE program, chapels, the people she met, and the Christian atmosphere around campus.

Megan is the daughter of Sam and Tracy Beck.  She has a brother, Aaron, who is a freshman at Wauseon High School; he runs cross country and track and plays basketball.
