Comments

(Lansing, MI) - The Concordia women's cross country team ran extremely well at the Lansing Community College Invitational this past Friday. With the weather being close to perfect the Lady Cards had three personal records. The first Card to cross the finish line was sophomore Leigh McRobbie with a PR of 22:38. "Leigh went out and pushed that first mile and she looked extremely strong, I am so proud of her," stated Head Coach Stephanie Foster. Next to cross the line was senior Corinne Kuclo and sophomore Delisia Morris with their fastest times of the 2012 season, 24:37.2 and 25:20 respectively. Following close behind Morris was freshmen Kristin Lindberg who ran a PR of 26:02.7. "I think she surprised herself at how good she is becoming. Every day I see her gaining confidence and pushing herself to the next level," remarked Coach Foster. Rounding things off for the Cardinals were freshman Kelsey Kaczor and Alexis Tino. Kaczor ran a college PR of 26:28.4. Cardinals' Assistant Coach Kyle Pryce had this to say about the Cardinals' performance, "I'm proud of how the team performed and I felt that they were aggressive and took advantage of the good weather."

The team's next race is Friday October 12th, at Bethel College in South Bend Indiana.
