(Grand Rapids, MI) - The Men's Cross Country team competed at the WHAC Conference Championship Meet this past Saturday. Aquinas College was the overall team winner with Siena Heights taking 2^nd place. The Cardinals ran well despite their overall eighth place finish.

First to cross the finish line for the Cards was freshmen Ryan Bellquist-Ledger, in one of his better times of the season, running 29:16.2. He was followed closely by senior Gary (Will) Cantrell. Cantrell ran his second best time of the season, 29:18.5. "Ryan and Will ran well today," Coach Steve Montgomery said. "We were hoping for PR's, but they came close, and we're happy with how well they performed," he added.
