LANSING, MI -- On a beautiful fall Friday afternoon the Spring Arbor University women's cross country team embraced the course and competed admirably against some of the best small college competition in the State of Michigan.

Racing in only their second meet of the young season, the Lady Cougars placed fifth out of the fifteen full teams competing in the meet. Placing behind both nationally ranked NCAA division II colleges and nationally ranked Junior Colleges at the LCC Invitational. The Cougars improved on their performance from three weeks ago and began to show evidence of the potential this young team has.
