[Women's Cross Country] Women's Cross Country Compete at EMU Fall Classic

Comments

(Dexter, MI) - The Lady Cardinals participated in the EMU Fall Classic this past Friday which was hosted by Eastern Michigan University at Hudson Mills Metro Park. Amongst a competitive field the Cardinals looked to maintain their steady growth.

With light rain and wind slated in the forecast, the Women's Cross Country team managed to put forth another good performance.

Leading the Cardinals once again was Brighton, MI native Leigh McRobbie, completing the 5K course in 23:12. Senior Corinne Kuclo crossed the line next for the Lady Cardinals with a time of 25.04. Coming off a foot injury and not able to compete in last week's race freshman Kristin Lindberg set a personal best with a time of 25:40 as she crossed the finish line next for Concordia. Two seconds behind Lindberg was teammate Delisia Morris. The final two runners finishing for the Cards were freshman Kelsey Kaczor and Alexis Tino.

Concordia University Women's Cross Country team will take two weeks off of competition as they prepare for the WHAC Championship on November 3 in Grand Rapids, MI

Next Saturday Concordia University and the Ann Arbor Track Club will host the Cross-Country Classic on the campus of Concordia University. The Cross-Country Classic will present races for all ages and runners. For more information visit http://aatrackclub.org/2012-10-27/aatc-cross-country-classic/
