(Saturday April 2nd, Lansing, MI) - The Men's Track and Field team traveled to Michigan State University this past Saturday for the Spartan Invitational. For the second week in a row the spring weather felt more like winter, and for the second week in a row the men's track team performed well despite the weather. The Spartans hosted a large number of teams, most of them division one schools.

Junior, Martell Buchanan, along with freshmen, Cody Cotner, Brandan Head, and Caleb Mims, placed 7^th in the 4 x 100 meter relay, running a time of 44.3. Buchanan then placed 6^th in the 400 meter dash, with a personal best time of 50.9. He also had an excellent time in the 200 meter, 22.9.
