(South Bend, IN) - Concordia University Men's Cross Country team had another solid performance at the Bethel College XC Invitational at St. Patrick's Park.

Ranked No. 11 in the recent national poll, the Saints of Aquinas College took the team title as they placed six runners in the top ten on the 8k course.

Crossing the finish line first for the Cardinals was Garwood, NJ native Ryan Bjellquist-Ledger toeing the line at 28:09. Only two seconds off from his last personal best. Alex Kitchin was next, at an even 30:00, not far from his personal best time of 29:57. Next for the Cardinals was junior Andrew Belt finishing at 32:26.

The Cardinals had two unattached runners, Tim Grimm and Karl Koenig. Both runners competed in their first ever collegiate race. Tim completed the course with a time of 35:55 with Karl not far behind at 36:19.

The Cardinals continue to show steady improvements mid-way through the 2012 Cross Country season. The team will be back in action next Friday at the Eastern Michigan Invitational in Dexter, MI.
